" My professional commitment is to provide the best possible result that I can deliver to my patients.  This pledge is coupled with the delivery of accurate information concerning the surgical procedures to both my patients and colleagues and to realize that this must be delivered in a professional and individualized manner.  I desire to be the example, and not the exception, to my coworkers and to focus on building their talents and not to use them to my end.  I will commit myself, and the talents of my staff, to those with any kind of need without regard to status, race, or religion.   Most of all, I will continue to strive to build those things which are lasting, focusing on relationships with my patients and families, on the trust and respect of my colleagues, and on accountability to myself and to others in need."
